Title
Vice President
Location

The Situation
After working with Rossetti Advisors to secure a Vice President role, the client was concerned about their ability to meet expectations as they had only been an Associate at their prior firm. They requested coaching to assist in making a good initial impression and smoothly transitioning to the VP role.
The Process
Prior to starting the job, the client held multiple sessions with Charlie to walk through best practices. They discussed detailed tactics, such as appropriate communication cadence with seniors, how to provide feedback to juniors, and Do vs. Delegate decisions. After starting, Charlie coached the client through dozens of situations, including reviewing and discussing live deals to ensure the client had unique perspectives to offer during their first investment committee meetings.
The Result
While never easy at first, the client overcame their imposter syndrome and has embraced their new role. Initial informal feedback has been positive and the client is comfortable operating autonomously with limited ongoing support from Charlie.
